Waterwheel (Audio CD)

Waterwheel
Waterwheel (Audio CD)
By Aoeria

Review & Description

Unwinding & enfolding rock music with sweet melodies & delirious textures

Sounds ebb and flow as intensity grows
Chewy guitar lines sinewed with bass tremors,
crashing and exploding drums over simmering cymbals
Long fibrous vocalizations of questions of reality

Aoeria's album Waterwheel is rock music with a dynamic variety of sounds, from dark burnished riffs to quiet sparkling acoustics, the songs explore metaphysical and existential questions. The improvised riffs and acoustically sparked songs were written and recorded between Binghamton as the glowing fall colors of upstate New York were overtaken by snow and skies welling with clouds and Massapequa Park on the South Shore of Long Island where sticky sweat summer provided a nice counterpoint.

The package features choice photos in an interesting presentation

Also look for the DVD which experiments with album presentation by adding photos that flow to the moods and forms of music. Also includes a set of jams where songs avenues were explored and recorded at the Broome Closet at Binghamton University, a new recording of a brooding theme from the Broome sessions set to pictures from recording and also a short film by Steve Schwartz featuring a friendly rabbit
Everything you see and hear is brought to you straight from the band

Thanks for listening and enjoy!
